Which Microphone Should You Use?



Are you shooting a feature film? A documentary? Maybe you’re filming a live concert for the purpose of a music video?

Many shooting situations, many options to record a decent sound. What kind of microphone should you use? I personally rely on an Audio-Technica AT- 897 shotgun mic, it is flexible for many shooting situations, though in different occasions, other types of mics are more effective. But I found that most of the time this model is perfect. However it is important to understand what are the benefits and advantages of each types of mics.
